HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF PUTNAM CITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH?
 

There are three ways to become a member of Putnam City Christian Church.
 

The first is by CONFESSION OF FAITH, FOLLOWED BY BAPTISM. If you have never been baptized or become a member of any church, you will be asked to give verbal assent to the following question: “Do you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and do you receive Him now as your Lord and Savior?” Baptism by immersion will take place in the very near future, either during, or following, a Sunday morning Worship Service or at another time by special arrangement.
 

A second path to membership is by TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP FROM ANOTHER CHURCH, assuming that you are a baptized member of some other congregation (of any denominational body). We recognize the validity of other forms of baptism practiced in denominations other than our own, so long as that particular form of baptism is recognized as valid by the individual who is transferring membership. We do NOT require the rebaptism of any baptized believer. You will simply be asked to reaffirm you faith in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.
 

The third way of becoming a member is by STATEMENT OF CHRISTIAN EXPERIENCE. This means that you are a baptized believer, but the record of your baptism and! or your church membership has been lost or is currently unavailable. In such cases we do not transfer membership; we simply accept your statement of Christian experience and welcome you as an “already baptized” believer.
